Title: User Experience (UX) Designer
Location: San Jose, CA - Onsite
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Job Description-
Competencies: Digital : User Experience (UX)
Experience (Years): 8-10
Essential Skills: • Significant hands-on research experience, with at least 7 years of experience applying research in an industry setting.• Mastery in a broad range of mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative) research, their tradeoffs and best application of methods within time constraints, and ability to explain rationale for each method.• Ability to analyze insights and articulate recommendations that impact digital solutions.• An understanding of the technology development cycles and can time research to have maximum impact.• Skews towards a structured way of conducting research, with an interest in contributing to scaling research operations across the org.• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.• Excellent collaboration & communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate a problem space, sometimes in various ways to meet the needs of different recipients.• Experience using remote research tools (like UserZoom, UserTesting, Miro etc.)• Flexible schedule to facilitate meetings across international time zones (crucially: spanning California to Europe time zones).
Desirable Skills: Additional skills which are of interest:• An advanced degree in psychology, human-computer interaction (HCI) anthropology, data science, cognitive science or a related field.• Familiarity with or interest in Information Technology (IT) services, enterprise technologies, SaaS or digital workplace platforms.• Experience working in or with technology services or IT organizations.• Familiarity working with any of the following tools would be helpful: Adobe AEM, Adobe Sign, Adobe Workfront, Microsoft Dynamics and Power Apps, ServiceNow, Jira
