Scientific Writer Intern - Plant and Soil Sciences

Job Summary
A faculty member in the Department of Plant and Soil Sciences is seeking to hire an hourly student intern to provide support for assistance in scientific writing for publications and grants. It is expected that this position will be approximately 10/hours week, with most days and time flexible depending on student's schedule. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Ability to learn various scientific research fields related to agriculture and natural resource management work independently; excellent communication skills, organize literature, and most importantly output-driven. Experience with meta-data analysis is plus.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience
Experience in running Machine/deep learning algorithms in R or Python. Experience in ArcGIS/QGIS.
