Who you'll be working with

We are seeking a highly-skilled content writer to join our marketing team. The candidate will pitch and author blog posts, white-papers, newsletters, case studies, videos, eBooks, proposals, and other short- and long-form digital content related to design and development in support of Codal's internal marketing efforts. With veritable experience writing for a B2B audience while adhering to SEO guidelines, our ideal candidate will use their technical knowledge to author actionable, engaging content and ultimately grow Codal's audience.

What you'll be doing

  • Research, develop, strategize, author, edit, and monitor blog posts, articles, reviews, case studies, and other short- and long-form digital content
  • Conduct thorough keyword research and use SEO best practices to increase website traffic
  • Develop content in various media forms (video, podcast, newsletters, etc.) for maximum visibility, with consistent voice across all documentation
  • Author accompanying social copy for all content posted to Codal's social channels
  • Contribute to the blogs of Codal's co-marketing partners and industry publications
  • Monitor the performance of all publicly-posted content and generating articles accordingly
  • Collaborate with internal SMEs to develop technical content that is clear, descriptive, and user-oriented
  • Write concise, easy-to-understand documentation that simplifies complex technical concepts into content consumable by all skill levels and roles
  • Assist in the development of Codal's broader content marketing strategy
  • Review and edit documentation drafts contributed by peers or others outside of Codal
  • Contribute to or lead strategic quarterly documentation initiatives to enhance our process, our website, and our content

What you'll need to be successful (Requirements)

  • 4+ years of verifiable experience in content and copywriting, preferably on technical topics including but not limited to tech manuals, api documentation, tech workflows, confluence and JIRA
  • Previous experience with a building and/or executing a content marketing strategy
  • Advanced knowledge of SEO and copywriting strategies
  • Proficiency with Hubspot, Google Suite, Sanity (preferred)
