Job Description

At Hightower, we design beautiful, functional furniture solutions that inspire collaboration and innovation in modern workspaces. As a family and women-owned, certified BCorp business with a commitment to craftsmanship and quality, we pride ourselves on our unique, design-driven approach and our ability to transform spaces with exceptional products.

Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for content creation, platform optimization, and driving measurable growth and brand awareness across digital platforms including social media and website? Do you thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments where your innovative ideas can make a direct impact on brand growth and awareness? Hightower is looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to join our team in Seattle!

As a key member of our marketing team, you'll have the opportunity to shape the voice and presence of our B2B business across a variety of digital platforms, including social media and our Shopify website. You'll collaborate closely with the Senior Creative Manager to craft compelling content that engages our audience, amplifies our brand, and drives measurable results.

What You'll Do:

1. Strategic Content Planning
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop forward-thinking content strategies that align with business objectives. Your ideas will shape content that informs, inspires, and drives positive change, while staying true to our brand's mission and values.

2. Repurpose & Innovate
Leverage our existing content library to create fresh and engaging formats. Whether it's repurposing videos, images, or other assets, you'll be using your creativity and video editing skills to create impactful content for multiple use cases.

3. Net-New Content Creation
Bring your creativity to life by producing original content—whether capturing it yourself or working with field teams. You'll be at the forefront of producing content that aligns with Hightower's voice, while keeping an eye on market trends and new tools to stay ahead of the curve.

4. Marketing Support & Storytelling
Support broader marketing campaigns and tell the story of Hightower's commitment to sustainability, inclusivity, and social impact. You'll play a role in producing assets that highlight our BCorp status, our women-owned business roots, and our mission to make a positive difference.

5. Content Execution & Engagement
Manage content schedules across multiple platforms, engaging with audiences in real-time to foster meaningful connections. You'll ensure content is posted on time and maintain a strong, consistent brand voice.

6. Data-Driven Insights
Assist in tracking the performance of content campaigns, gathering insights from multiple marketing systems, and sharing recommendations for optimizing future strategies.

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in social media content creation and strategy, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
  • A strong storyteller with excellent writing and video editing skills.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools such as Shopify, Canva, Planoly, Figma, Asana, and Notion.
  • Deep experience with social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Facebook, Threads, and TikTok.
  • A data-driven mindset balanced with a creative, innovative approach.
  • A passion for brand building, and the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences.
  • A detail-oriented approach with excellent project management skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Flexibility and resilience to work in the fast-paced, always-on world of social media.
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% for events and tradeshows.
