Description
We are seeking a Lead Proposal Writer to join our dynamic Proposal Operations Team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with U.S. Government, FEDSIM, and commercial proposals. This position is pivotal within the Strategy & Business Development's Capture Operations & Excellence Group, supporting our organization's most strategic bids. As a Lead Proposal Writer, you will collaborate closely with Capture Executives, Solution Architects, and Technical and Management Volume Leads to craft high-quality, compelling proposal sections. In addition, you will be responsible for process improvement initiatives to enhance proposal quality.
- Work with Solution Architects and Subject Matter Experts to articulate solutions and corporate experience against proposal requirements
- Lead written responses to technical, management, corporate experience, staffing rationale, resumes, and transition sections
- Collaborate on solution strategy, approach, experience, win themes, and discriminators with a team
- Utilize communication and interviewing skills to gather necessary information for writing activities
- Write clear, compliant, compelling, and persuasive proposal sections
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance proposal quality
Location: Reston, VA - Onsite with potential for telework up to 25% during live proposals
