Position Summary:

Manager: Honors College - Program Manager
The purpose of this position is to assist the Honors College as a Marketing Student Worker in charge of photography, videography, and editing. This staff member will create content to promote events, recap events, and effectively inform and engage all Honors College stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Photo and Video Editing
- Event Photography
- Event Videography
- Creating Engaging Social Media Content
- Event Staffing: Social events, speaker series, research symposiums, conferences, banquets, service projects, field trips, international excursions, etc.
Equipment Used and Responsibility:
- Personal equipment: photography and videography
- Personal Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Lightroom accounts (or contemporary programs): photo and video editing
- Microsoft Outlook: retrieve and send emails
- Microsoft Teams: file storage, group calls, and connecting with team members
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of camera operation and photo/video editing skills
- Have an advanced editing software (Premiere Pro, FinalCut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or alike)
- Must be on top of deadlines, proactive, a self-starter, communicative, and have a positive, eager attitude
- Must be willing to commit to 7+ hours/week in a hybrid format
Experience/Education:
Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
- Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.
- Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
- Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
