Manage the company's global communications and special projects aligned with the company's business objectives and profitability goals. Support all of House of Carolina Herrera (across Fashion, Beauty, Licensees) policies, objectives, and initiatives to ensure development and implementation of cohesive, innovative communications programs adhering to global brand guidelines.
What you'll get to do
Global Communications:
- Assist in execution of communications campaigns across all media platforms (Print/digital) to maximize all storytelling opportunities, collaborating with global PR agencies and in-house teams on creating launch strategies for key events and partnerships.
- Manage global network of agencies for PR and Communication purposes to optimize ongoing global strategic initiatives, organizing timely bi-weekly touch base, monthly reports and bi-yearly global PR meetings.
- Deploy external communications to media and agencies including press releases, media alerts, interview requests and brand statements.
- Support pitching and act as liaison for feature and interview requests (Expand awareness and story opportunities globally for brand and Creative Director).
- Maintain a keen and timely understanding and relevance in industry related matters.
- Cultivate and establish relationships with media contacts including marketing directors, editors, writers and key opinion leaders.
- Support on activation strategies pertaining to influencer relations in partnership with Senior Manager, VIP.
- Support internal communications to share press and brand activity in timely manner on brand and corporate level.
- Support Beauty, Fragrance, Eyewear, CH Carolina Herrera with communications strategies, activities and global events.
- Support maintenance of communication budgets, with specific ownership of bi-yearly show budget through excel, billing portal and other tools as required to ensure timely payment to all vendors.
- Assist in production of brand events - liaise with third party vendors and events partners: e.g. production, florists, event producers, caterers, lighting designers etc. to adhere to brand standard to achieve event goals within budget.
- Assist in maintenance of seasonal invitation list for international press, VIP and influencers, in partnership with global press teams.
- Liaise with external teams' respective lists: Wholesale, Retail, Intl PR, Corporate HQ, Institutional, Internal executives.
- Manage scheduling during week for show across all partners: Production, casting director, music producer, stylist, HMU, Nail Team.
- Generate Press release and Run of Show and ensure timely deployment worldwide.
- Leverage all events (branding/wholesale/retail) to maximize local and national press across print and digital opportunities, and 'One Brand' opportunities where possible.
- Collaborate on production of photoshoots as required for seasonal or capsule collections.
- Lead influencer and brand ambassador strategies and the planning and execution of campaigns alongside internal teams (in the US and abroad) to increase brand awareness and audience engagement across all social platforms.
- Partner with Director of Global Marketing in efforts for Retail and Wholesale events where possible.
- Partner with Logistics Manager, Product Development, Design and across all teams to ensure smooth communication on sample requests, focusing on editorial, beauty (e.g. Fragrance campaign shoot) and VIP requests
- Oversee communications portion of Weekly Marketing and Communications report.
- Oversee Monthly Global Press report.
- Manage Post-Show/event attendance report and recaps.
- Manage YoY/SoS reporting for key brand moments i.e. Show and Met Gala
- Orchestrate bi-yearly global press review and presentation to Senior Leadership Team
We'd love to meet you if you have
- Self-motivated, creative and resourceful individual with deep understanding of global press and fashion creative landscape and innate sense of luxury storytelling extending to beauty and fragrance.
- Confident and comfortable in represent the brand internally and externally to key stakeholders and partners.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in marketing and communications, preferably in ready-to-wear or accessories luxury industry
- College Education required.
- Strong communications, interpersonal and relationship building skills; able to work as a team, keen multitasker who can spearhead projects on his/her own with accountability.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Fashion GPS, Lefty, Adobe Acrobat a plus but not required)
- Budget/revenue management experience preferred.
- Proactive, Energetic, Curious Out-of-the Box thinker with strong attention to detail and organization skills
