Job Description
Vertical Alliance Group is the parent company of Infinit-I Workforce Solutions—online training tools, including a learning management system (software application that helps create, manage, and track learning materials) for industries like transportation, distribution, and warehousing.
This is not a remote position. It is working Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm at our corporate office.
What it takes to be a successful Video Production Specialist:
- Proficiency with Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent, and familiarity with all related software and/or requirements for editing/producing various formats within Final Cut Pro X.
- Proficiency with DSLR cameras with experience producing both cinematic and photographic pieces of content at high qualities.
- Ability to speak confidently, energetically, and politely with various people to facilitate productions with clients and/or non-employee personnel.
Must-have’s for the position:
- Produce a broad range of audio/video projects, ranging from productions that require shooting on-camera personnel or talent, to power point voice overs, client interviews, and client on-sight production.
- Responsible for all video, audio, and motion graphic production - including storyboarding, staging, lighting, recording audio, interviewing, shooting, creating graphics, editing, color correction, compression and encoding of videos, and digital asset management.
- Effectively manage video project workflow, timelines, project direction, quality and timeliness of final deliverables. Use communication tools to keep the Video Production Manager apprised of project’s status.
- Have good time management skills.
- Ability to compile files and documentation for archival folder.
- Ensure creative assets adhere to brand guidelines and voice.
- Work collaboratively as part of a production team or independently.
- Follow production schedules set by manager.
- Communicate project information to marketing to enable catalog descriptions and marketing materials match video productions.
- Ability to discuss equipment rentals, locations, talent, and other possible associated costs of a shoot with the VPM.
- Publish produced videos to various platforms.
- Some travel may be required.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s in related field preferred but not required
- 1-2 years’ experience with Final Cut Pro X or Adobe Premiere Pro preferred but not required
