ePublishing, a leading web development firm, seeks an experienced Python developer to work on our award-winning Ellington CMS and Marketplace products. We are a completely virtual organization, so you will work from home 100% of the time with little to no travel requirements during the year.
We are a small company with big clients and are very customer-service driven. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, enjoy a job that is different from day to day, and possess flexible and varied skill sets. He or she must also have the ability to quickly learn and deploy new methods and technologies. The ideal applicant will have a sense of humor and enjoy working directly with clients to offer direction, support, and updates.
Our work environment is extremely varied. As a classic web shop, we develop strategies and solutions for other companies, yet we are simultaneously engaged in several proprietary ventures of our own. We love turning ideas into reality.

Required experience:
- Linux (CentOS or RHEL preferred)
- Python (3 years)
- Django
- Relational Databases - PostgreSQL & MySQL
- Provide excellent customer service and communication
- Analytical troubleshooting and problem solving
- Ability to multitask and coordinate troubleshooting and resolution efforts for issues
Desired experience:
- Apache, Varnish
- Redis
