ASSOCIATE CREATIVE DIRECTOR, ART
Creative Department
Reports to: SVP, Group Creative Director
The Associate Creative Director, Art is an expert in art and successfully navigates both disciplines. They train teams to produce the highest-quality work that not only strategically delivers on client needs but anticipates them. They are expected to lead creative teams effectively, present new creative and strategic ideas to internal teams and clients, and help create new, effective agency policies and procedures. They are expected to take leadership roles in new business pitches and are responsible for maintaining team morale. At this level, advanced performance is expected in both individual and management skills, as well as demonstration of substantial value to the agency and the brand team. Additionally, the Associate Creative Director, Art embodies the Calcium+Company values of commitment, integrity, and respect, both in their work and in their relationships with their co-workers and external clients.

Key Job Responsibilities (Duties may include, but are not limited to all or some of the following)
- Accountable as the creative and strategic lead on a large/primary brand(s) and 1-2 smaller accounts/projects
- Successfully manages team within core discipline
- Lead creative teams through important creative initiatives, providing clear feedback and strong direction
- Is a steady source of ideas and inspiration; has a meaningful and positive cultural impact across the agency
- Spearheads day-to-day deliverables, leads client presentations
- Manages personnel issues related to direct and indirect reports
- Creates opportunities for professional growth of all direct and indirect reports; provides feedback on performance and creative work of team, and keeps manager informed of new staff developments
- Works on new business with conceptual ideas and concepts that are on strategy
Job Qualifications (Skills/Requirements)
- 7+ years of agency experience
- Strong presentation skills
- Brand/market/agency knowledge
- Strategic and tactical planning/ideation
- Medical-regulatory-legal navigation
- Financial responsibility
- Interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong conceptual ability
- Ability to work within appropriate software programs:
