$25-$30 per hour

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Studio and Digital Art Teachers to work occasional hours between 3:30pm and 8pm weekdays and on Saturdays and Sundays during the day. There will be opportunities to pick up more hours in the New Year if desired.

Must be comfortable teaching children in grades K-12
The curriculum is written and our kids are super excited to be signed up for our fun classes that are based around the work of living contemporary artists.

It is a great opportunity for public and private school art teachers and current art students in graduate programs to earn extra money doing what they love.

Our curriculum is created centrally so there is minimal prep required and all tools, equipment and supplies are provided.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience teaching studio art or digital design classes (digital art teachers must know Photoshop)
  • BFA or BS Art Education (MFA or Master in Art Education a huge plus)
  • A fun, engaging teaching style
  • Thoughtful communication skills
  • A passion for One River School's mission
  • Must live within easy commutable distance from the school
