Motion Recruitment is hiring: Audio Visual Technician in San Francisco

Our financial services client is looking for a contract Senior Audio Visual Technician. The manager prefers the candidate to sit onsite in Cottonwood Heights, UT; San Francisco, CA or Jacksonville, FL. The candidate will be required to be onsite a minimum of 4 days per week.

Our client is hiring an Audio Visual Technician who is responsible for the setup and operation of audio and visual equipment for all of the client’s offices. The AV Tech role, requires excellent customer service skills, an understanding of audio and visual systems, and the ability to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.

Contract Duration: 12-Months

Required Skills & Experience

• 5-8 years of experience in the AV/VC industry
• Outstanding knowledge of Zoom Rooms and audio/video hardware packages
• Must be responsive, efficient, have excellent customer interaction skills, and exhibit a high level of professionalism
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding environment, under immense pressure. The pace requires independent and confident thinking, self-motivation and determination
• Must be engaged in the process of technical development
• Good organization and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must have critical thinking and problem-solving ability

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities

• Train and mentor HelpDesk and Audio/Video Technicians
• Develop concise user instruction materials as well as detailed step-by-step technical documentation for IT personnel
• Ensure the highest levels of customer service in a collaborative environment having a keen focus on helping people resolve issues and problems
• Maintain our AV Event and Conference Rooms and ensure they are functional on a day-to-day basis resolving operational issues in a timely manner
• Oversee AV events and ensure we deliver a high-quality experience for both local and remote participants
• Edit presentations for internal distribution using the latest in technology and equipment
• Build documentation to reinforce the process and policies we have regarding AV best practices and room management
