The eLearning Specialist, Video & Audio creates specialized, engaging videos and audio for eLearning courseware that results in optimal return on learning investment. Building upon strong technical, collaboration and video editing skills, this individual proposes and executes thoughtful video design strategies aligning with BAI's eLearning design philosophy.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance video and audio components for new eLearning courses, update existing materials, and modify content to reflect regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers to create, curate, and review scripts for video and audio used in both new and existing courses.
  • Work with the product development team to produce additional learning and development videos and resources, including LMS help tutorials.
  • Quickly gain knowledge of new subjects, understand relevant audiences, and contextualize content for on-the-job application.
  • Contribute ideas for video topics, innovative scenarios, and design strategies.
  • Provide information for both internal and customer-facing communications related to video and audio development.
  • Engage actively in a collaborative course development environment, working closely with team members to enhance capabilities.
  • Develop and present newly created courseware videos to the product development team.
  • Consistently meet deadlines in a dynamic environment with multiple concurrent assignments.
  • Communicate directly with customers for custom project requests.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding project services as needed.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance, technical reviews, and proofreading of eLearning courseware, maintaining a keen attention to detail and ensuring consistency.
  • Log technical, formatting, and content issues in JIRA as part of the quality assurance process; collaborate closely with instructional design and programming teams to address urgent concerns.
  • Manage personal performance to achieve company objectives and meet agreed-upon deadlines.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales and Marketing as required.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred (e.g., Video Production, Arts and Technology, Educational Technology, eLearning, Instructional Design).
  • 1-3 years of experience in video and audio design and production for computer-based training a plus.
  • Strong knowledge and advanced proficiency in video and audio editing software, such as Vyond, Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, and After Effects; experience with Photoshop is a plus.
  • Familiarity with additional software packages beneficial, including Adobe Captivate, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Edge Animate, and Articulate Storyline.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective quality assurance and proofreading abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
  • Capacity to prioritize tasks and make independent decisions while remaining open to feedback.
  • Solid customer service and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with JIRA and SharePoint is a plus.
  • Familiarity with financial institutions and consumer protection regulations is a plus.
