Audio Video Sales

Adkore is seeking an Audio Video Sales Representative for our client in the Savannah / Hilton Head area.  This is high-end residential and some commercial sales.  Experience with AV or lighting/shades sales and/or AV and lighting background highly desired.  Candidate must be versatile to work in the showroom or onsite with customers, designers, builders, architects etc.

General:

·       Flexibility in schedule for out of hours client meetings

·       Perform basic to moderate operations in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)

·       Extensive use of IPoint software

·       Obtain client contact details and enter into IPoint (including billing address)

·       Compile proposals with scope for client submittal (after review by sales manager)

·       Proposal review by sales manager before submittal to client (includes change orders of substantial dollar value)

·       Ensure proposals signed and deposits paid (both required) Handle any GC contracts as necessary

·       Progress Proposals to Sales Orders (SO) and ensure all details are entered…color, fabric choice etc.

Plans and layouts:

- Schematics

- Installation information, wiring diagrams, dimensions, product make/models etc.

-Showroom Duties

·       Responsible for showroom coverage Monday-Friday 12:30-5:30 PM, or as directed by sales manager

·       Handle walk-in sales inquiries & CC purchases

-      To open and close store at posted times (or as directed)

-      Handle store sales functions with clients

-      Complete sales transactions

-      Determine customer parts/service needs

-      Demonstrate equipment as appropriate

-      Create sales order/invoice

-      Develop new sales opportunities & initiatives

·       Phone support

-      Answer phones with assistance from office staff

-      Qualify client for service visit or walkthrough

-Outside Sales

·       Perform site visit/walkthrough to assess client requirements

·       Make accurate notes during walkthrough to assist on schematics and technician installation

·       Compile proposals with matching scope for client submittal

·       Request deposit and signed approval

·       Progress proposal to Sales Order (SO)

·       Compile client file and deliver to PM

·       QC after installation and create punch list if necessary and request further tech visit via PM
