Job Summary:
The Web Knowledge Manager/Strategic Communication – Senior will be responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic communication strategies, with a specific focus on web content management and digital communications. The individual will utilize their expertise in communication tactics to enhance the online presence, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and effectively engaging diverse audiences. This role requires a strong understanding of web content management systems, strategic messaging, and the ability to develop and implement comprehensive communication plans across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and management of strategic communication plans, particularly focused on web content and digital platforms.
- Oversee web content creation and optimization, ensuring it aligns with strategic communication goals and enhances the user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and integrate web-based communication with broader organizational strategies.
- Develop and implement digital communication campaigns, including email newsletters, web articles, and social media content, to engage target audiences.
- Conduct ongoing evaluation of web performance and digital communication efforts, using analytics to optimize strategies and improve engagement.
- Advise senior leadership on web communication strategies and provide recommendations for improving online visibility and impact.
- Stay informed of digital communication trends, tools, and best practices to maintain innovative and effective web-based communications.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in strategic, tactical, and media communication roles, particularly focusing on web content and digital communication.
- Strong knowledge of web content management systems (CMS) and digital marketing tools.
- Proven experience in content creation, social media management, and web analytics.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for different audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate organizational goals into effective communication strategies.
- Experience in developing and implementing digital communication campaigns that drive engagement and awareness.
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree
Specialized Work Experience: 5 years of demonstrated strategic, tactical, and media communication experience within the last 10 years
