Role Summary:
INCCRRA is seeking a Content Developer to work in the Learning and Development Department. This position assesses, plans, designs and develops professional development curriculum for online, virtual and face-to-face delivery to CCR&R staff, child care providers and cross-sector state system partners. Position will also assist with Online Learning Content as needed.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop curricula on designated topics as well as creating participant and trainer manuals along with resources, tutorials, guides in alignment with competencies, licensing standards and other state guidelines.
  • Edit curricula for procedural and grammatical accuracy
  • Organize and facilitate the review of ITN and other designated training curricula; standardize existing curricula as needed
  • Prepare written curriculum for online offerings
  • Regularly monitor progress/and or effectiveness of curricula and implement changes based on feedback with help of ITN and online feedback
  • Work with outside consultants/contractors to develop and/or validate training content and deliver excellent customer service for all projects
  • Coordinate work with outside print companies to have manuals printed and delivered for local delivery of trainings
  • Become familiar with training content offered on ilearning system
  • Participate in user testing processes for new courses
  • Make adjustments, revisions, or updates to improve user experience and align with content changes as necessary
  • Assist Instructional Design team with writing of scripts, assessments, exercises, interactions and curriculum content as needed
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and abilities we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage several projects
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with instructional design and learning management software
  • Strong knowledge of Adult Learning Theory and presentation skills
