Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Content Writer opening for our client in Baton Rouge, LA.

Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Duration: Contract to Hire

Duties:

• Write creative and technical content for various platforms including blogs, articles, social media posts, and marketing materials.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure the accuracy and depth of content.
• Apply SEO principles to create content that ranks well on search engines.
• Tailor content to meet the needs and preferences of specific target audiences.
• Edit and proofread content for clarity, coherence, and consistency.
• Generate original ideas and produce engaging content that captivates readers.

Skills:

• Strong command of grammar, style, and clarity in both creative and technical writing.
• Ability to conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and depth in content.
• Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles.
• Ability to tailor content to meet the needs of diverse audiences.
• Strong editing and proofreading skills.
• Creativity and the ability to produce original, engaging content.

Experience:

• 5-10 years of work experience in content writing or a related field.
• Proven experience in writing across various formats, including blogs, articles, social media posts, and marketing copy.
• Experience in SEO content writing and online research.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
