Title: Commercial Services Learning & Development Content Designer

Location: Remote

Duration: Six-month contract

Mission:
  • We are looking for an enthusiastic Commercial Services L&D Content Designer to develop training content for General Managers and Above-Property Leaders. You will work closely with the Franchise and Owner Relations Group (FORG) and Commercial Services teams to help maintain its leadership in hospitality.
Day to Day:
  • Support the Commercial Services organization by delivering effective learning experiences for Owners and Operators overseeing hotel Commercial and Operational strategy.
  • Ensure successful production and execution of training, including self-paced online courses and virtual/in-person instructor-led sessions.
  • Collaborate with key functional disciplines to understand needs, create content for above-property colleagues and General Managers, and align on best practices and key behaviors.
  • Measure training saturation and impact while demonstrating a commitment to Empathy, Wellbeing, Inclusion, and Experimentation in line with the culture.
  • Possess expertise in hotel sales, marketing, revenue, and events, with strong strategic, communication, and problem-solving skills to support collaboration across divisions.
Must have:
  • Seven+ years of hotel experience, including sales with Select and Full-Service hotels, and 3+ years as Director of Sales.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing and revenue management.
  • Experience designing interactive L&D programs and working with multiple hotel brands.
  • Proficiency in (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Forms)
  • Experience with systems like Envision, EAS, Opera, and Lanyon RFP
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work remotely.
