Qualified candidates will be scheduled for interviews and required to complete a short vetting task for the role. When selected, you will be virtually onboarded and complete non-disclosure and business agreements. Invoices for payment are submitted at the beginning of each month for the previous month's work and are paid by direct deposit within 30 days.

Curriculum Content Developer

A Curriculum Content Developer provides vision and leadership in the design and development of highly effective education products to meet a client's specific needs. This position works directly with the Lead Content Strategist to weave research-based pedagogy and subject matter expertise into market-leading products that challenge and grow all students. A Senior Content Developer also acts as a project manager. They delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members, manage daily project functions, and motivate and coach a high-performance team.

  • 3+ years of experience developing content for K-12 students
  • 2+ years of teaching experience
  • Proven effectiveness at leading teams, working across teams, and/or overseeing the design of a curriculum at the direction of an organization's leadership
  • Proven effectiveness at coaching writers
  • Proven effectiveness at reviewing content for standards alignment, clarity, and cohesion
  • Strong familiarity with both digital and print development projects
  • Strong understanding of grade-appropriate content, college- and career-ready standards, and pedagogy
  • Current on relevant research
  • Ability to adhere to client requirements and deadlines
  • Significant experience working in publishing tools (Content templates, InCopy, assessment platforms, etc.)

  • Belief that all students are capable of engaging in rigorous, meaningful work
  • The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience as a curriculum writer, curriculum developer, or curriculum designer

Hourly rate range: $45 - $60/Hour

Rate range is based on experience and project specifications.
