H/L is looking for an experienced Social Content Manager. You will plan, manage and coordinate execution of designated clients’ organic and paid social media efforts and work directly with the Account, Media, Creative and Production teams to own and grow the impact of client social channels. You will drive the entire process from planning to posting.
This is a hybrid role, with both office-based work at the H/L Oakland office and remote work.
What you’ll do:
Strategy development
- Develop strategic social media plans with clear objectives and content pillars, aligning with client goals
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and track progress
Content creation, management and execution
- Develop content calendars in conjunction with overall client brand efforts, outlining social media activities for the annual year
- Generate and ensure content is tailored to each specific social media platform to optimize performance
- Monitor and respond to social media interactions and comments
Cross-functional collaboration and client communication
- Work closely with the client Account team to understand brand voice, audience and objectives
- Collaborate with Creative and Production to produce high-quality assets
- Present strategy recommendations and proposals to key client contacts
Measurement
- Regularly analyze social media metrics to identify trends and opportunities
- Generate regular reports that detail performance and insights
About you:
Professional Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or other closely related area
- Two to three years of experience in an advertising or marketing agency setting
- Experience managing multiple tasks and projects concurrently
- Ideally, a basic familiarity with Asana and Slack

For SF Bay Area / CA based: H/L offers projected salary range for a position as an estimate of what the company believes is a reasonable pay scale. The salary range for this position is expected to be between $75,000 and $90,000 per year. The actual salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on various factors, including the job’s scope and responsibilities, the candidate’s qualifications, budget availability, internal pay equity, geographic location, and external market pay rates for similar positions. These factors will determine the final compensation, which may vary within the stated range.
