Video Content Manager Responsibilities:
Work conditions (physical demands, travel, outdoors, etc.):
Ability to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, including all home games (or other work events) that fall on nights, weekends, and/or holidays. Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines. Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, performance-driven work environment.
Salary range is $70K - $90K

Video Content Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead every facet of club-owned video projects including ideating unique concepts, developing production plans, gathering input from stakeholders, scheduling, filming, and post-production work
- Initiate and lead ideation and storytelling across the organization with the goal of expanding the Wave FC brand while continuing to connect with audiences both locally and globally
- Lead and define short- and long-form storytelling through video content across the Club for online, social media, stadium videoboard, and advertising - work with stakeholders from every department to guide storytelling and content approaches in alignment with the Wave FC brand
- Capture footage of Wave FC matchdays and training sessions
- Shoot and edit press conferences, player interviews, highlight reels, community relations' events, and sales and marketing activations
- Help ideate and create content that organically weaves in corporate partner messaging and objectives to create value for the sponsor, the club, and the fanbase
- Produce advertising materials for paid social, and out of home with the goal of driving interest in attending and watching Wave FC matches, and purchasing Wave FC merch
- Story tell around all aspects of the club, from the players to the fans to the complete matchday experience at Snapdragon Stadium
- Own schedule inclusive of production timeline, internal reviews, and reviews with internal and external partners and stakeholders
- Log and archive clips to facilitate future accessibility
- Ensure adherence to brand standards and guidelines
- Transport, set up, and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio recorders, lighting equipment and microphones for location and studio production
- Cover select road matches
- Contribute to the marketing team's overall strategy and success in both team and cross-department meetings
- Provide creative thinking to help solve business problems for a variety of stakeholders
- Collaborate on creative strategy, design, and shoot/content list for annual media day
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)
- Minimum three (3) years relevant work experience in video production; undergrad experience in college athletics is accepted
- For consideration, candidate must submit a website/portfolio/reel that displays examples of previous work
- Experience with Digital Cine and DSLR camera operations
- Demonstrated experience working in Adobe Creative Cloud on Mac devices, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Familiarity with photography and ability to shoot photos when needed
- Be able to prioritize by highest impact against club goals and drive focus for the content team towards what matters most
- Deep craft experience in your creative field with a highly developed ability to develop strategic thinking and creative concepts that result in compelling campaigns and creative work
- Ability to creative direct all work, whether through external agencies, freelance vendors, or internal production resources, ensuring best-in-class work is delivered on time and within budget
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when needed
- Great communicator, professional in presentation and able to work with multiple stakeholders and personalities
- Good problem-solving and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of soccer and familiarity with the National Women's Soccer League, preferred
