Summary
Position Overview: Bike Mart, a local leader in high-end cycling products, is seeking a creative
and results-driven Marketing Manager focused on content creation to help elevate our brand.
This role is critical in driving our customer engagement and loyalty through impactful video,
email, SMS, and social media content, reflecting the quality and excitement of the Bike Mart
experience. The ideal candidate will have a knack for storytelling and a passion for cycling and
outdoor adventure.
Duties
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Strategy Planning
○ Develop a comprehensive content calendar to support business goals and
promotional efforts across email, video, SMS, and social media.
○ Collaborate with store managers and product teams to identify key products,
events, and seasonal campaigns that resonate with our audience.
2. Video Production Editing
○ Plan, shoot, and edit iPhone video content to highlight products, bike tutorials,
safety tips, and customer stories.
○ Create short-form, engaging videos for social channels, as well as long-form
content for YouTube or website use.
3. Email Marketing
○ Develop and manage regular email campaigns, ensuring that each
communication is visually compelling, informative, and aligned with the Bike
Mart brand.
○ Segment audiences based on customer interests and purchasing behavior to
optimize engagement and drive conversions.
4. SMS Campaigns
○ Plan and execute SMS campaigns to reach customers with timely offers, event
reminders, and product launches.
○ Monitor SMS engagement metrics, such as open rates and click-throughs, and
adjust tactics as needed.
5. Social Media Management
○ Plan and execute social media content, emphasizing products, store events, and
brand storytelling.
6. Performance Tracking Reporting
○ Use analytics tools to track and report on campaign performance, applying
insights to refine content and strategy.
○ Regularly measure video viewership, email open rates, and SMS engagement to
ensure content effectiveness.
Requirements
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
● 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, ideally with a focus on video, email, and
SMS.
● Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., iMovie, Adobe Premiere, or similar).
● Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Yotpo) and SMS marketing
tools (e.g., Attentive, Klaviyo)
● Experience with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
● Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns across
channels.
● Knowledge of cycling, outdoor retail, or a similar lifestyle category is a plus.
