See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Position Overview: We are looking for a customer-centric, innovative and digital-first brand and creative leader who will strongly position, and grow consumer awareness and demand of the Navico Group brand, and family of brands within. As the Brand and Creative Director, you will lead the development and execution of cutting-edge creative strategies across multiple marketing channels for our technology-focused products. You will take ownership of the creative vision for the Navico Group brand, and the family of brands within, driving ownable and differentiated expressions of each. You’ll collaborate closely with senior leadership to align creative efforts with business objectives, inspiring your team to produce outstanding work that delivers measurable results. Additionally, you’ll consult and mentor to help guide toward best practices across key projects and brands within the Brunswick Enterprise. This role involves an equal mix of creative strategy development, creative excellence from concepting through execution and team leadership. Creative Leadership and Excellence Lead the development of a cohesive creative strategy for complex, products that aligns with business objectives and resonates with target audiences (both B2B and B2C) across channels like digital, print, TV, sponsorships, social and experiential channels Develop compelling concepts that support positioning and messaging narratives across different channels – matching the concept to the medium and audience Position our brands through segment-specific campaigns to elevate the brand and resonate with consumers Define and shape the brand identity across all mediums, ensuring a strong, unified voice and visual direction that differentiates our brands in the marketplace. Foster innovation and push creative boundaries by identifying emerging brand and creative trends and treatments, encouraging the team to experiment with new concepts, tools, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge and drive demand. Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration Act as the primary creative liaison with senior marketing leadership, product, and sales teams, translating business objectives into actionable creative strategies. Work closely with marketing leadership to develop long-term creative roadmaps and ensure creative efforts align with broader business goals, product launches, and campaign priorities. Spearhead cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring that creative efforts amplify marketing campaigns and reinforce brand synergies across all platforms. Apply best practices for creative excellence within Navico to key projects and brands within the broader Brunswick Enterprise. Team Leadership & Development Build and mentor a high-performing creative team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Empower team members by providing guidance on prioritizing work, problem-solving, and refining their craft, ensuring professional growth and alignment with organizational needs. Establish and optimize the creative team structure and processes to ensure agility, efficiency, and the ability to scale creative efforts in response to evolving business demands. Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while proactively addressing challenges or delays. Brand Stewardship & Market Insight Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our technology brands and competitors, continuously identifying opportunities to refine and evolve the creative approach to meet market trends. Oversee the translation of brand identity into creative executions, ensuring that messaging and visuals reflect the unique personality and value proposition of each brand Results-Driven Creative Impact Champion data-driven creative decision-making, incorporating performance metrics and consumer insights to optimize campaigns and content for impact. Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way. Required Skills and Experience Minimum of 10+ years of leading creative for digital-first consumer, preferably technology, brand and creative strategy and development experience with a minimum of 6+ years of creative team leadership experience at a creative director/senior creative leader level. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Fine Arts or Design Technology products/services experience highly preferred. Strong digital expertise – creative development expertise for digital product and performance marketing channels like: web, e-commerce, digital display and social advertising, e-catalogues. Equally skilled in strategic planning and the ability to drive creative and brand execution across a variety of initiatives. Strong working knowledge of experience design, brand development, interactive commerce and creative process. Ability to make evaluative judgments and rationalize creative direction. Outstanding customer focus and critical thinking skills. Strong written, verbal and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong drive for results. Strong project management skills; ability to manage and maintain multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable interacting with different levels of management and leading global teams. Ability to guide decision making with strategic insight and rationale.
