Edelman seeks a trend-savvy ACD-copy (bring an AD partner if you have one!) for a top retail client. This role is perfect for a creative with a passion for trends in social, fashion, beauty, and home decor—think Vanity Fair meets dynamic brand storytelling. You'll leverage cultural insights, IRL experiences, and sharp writing to craft campaigns that supercharge brands and captivate audiences.

Our team drives some of the world’s most buzz-worthy work, like eBay's pre-loved runway shows at NY and London Fashion Week or Dove’s guide for coding Black hairstyles in gaming. Here, we don’t just follow culture; we aim to change it.

Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with an Associate Creative Director, Art Director, and with the direction of creative leadership to concept and plan execution of integrated campaigns and programs across a wide range of media and platforms, especially social, digital, video, experiences, and content.
  • Concept and write campaign ideas for client projects and new business pitches that are earned-first and social by design.
  • Work in concert with a wide range of specialties including account, strategy, project management, and influencers.
  • Develop tactics that bring creative concepts to life and achieve program objectives.
  • Manage multiple jobs simultaneously, managing and providing direction to other team members as needed.
  • Work closely with a project manager and production partners to schedule projects and coordinate production.
  • Prepare and present client creative presentations and drive client approval process.
  • Work effectively with external vendors and internal colleagues to complete projects within timeframe and budget.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of experience in marketing, advertising or social media.
  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably in English, Advertising, Communications, or related major.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A killer online portfolio with proven recent examples of social, traditional, earned, digital, and experiential campaigns.
  • Previous roles in advertising, copywriting, and a portfolio of ideas and executions demonstrating strong use of copy, tone, and voice across multiple channels and platforms, as well as long and short copy formats.
  • Strong, persuasive presentation skills to sell in creative work to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience maintaining client contact as needed, building camaraderie to develop trusting relationships.
  • The ability to collaborate with PMs and other departments to lead and move projects forward, assisting with budget and schedule development, and potentially managing junior creatives’ work.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage work, adhering to critical project timelines while maintaining a high-level of craft and detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • A professional-level mastery of industry-standard software and writing tools including MS Word, PowerPoint, as well as a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
  • On-site production/writing experience for events, activations as well as video, digital, and social platforms.
  • Pride in your previous work and the ability to speak to it clearly and concisely during the interview process.

Salary

$86,000 - $133,000 a year. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
