Responsibilities:
The Creator, Social & Community reports to the Art Director, Social & Community and is responsible for telling the story of the Express brand and customer community through social-first still and video content. This role will ideate, capture, and edit various video concepts for social media, paid media and brand advertising campaigns.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Concept video storytelling needs specific to each social media platform and customer segment.
  • Social-first video capture such as content at photo shoots, stores, events, studio, and other misc. day-to-day creation.
  • Social-first video editing.
  • Social-first graphic design.
  • Schedule and publish social posts for all Social Media channels.
  • Edit/curate community content for brand storytelling on Social Media channels and other marketing assets
  • Maintain organization of social-first video asset library.
  • Track creative outputs against performance metrics to inform current and future work.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelors degree or comparable experience in filmmaking, fashion, visual communications, or related field
  • Experience: 1+ years experience in filmmaking, commercial, or social media fields
  • Proficient in iPhone video capture and editing
  • Advanced understanding of social-first video concepting, capture and editing processes
  • Proficient user of social media platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram
  • Experience with AdobePremiere and Creative Suite a bonus
  • Strong creative portfolio featuring social-first video examples
  • Ability to travel
