Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Join the award-winning team as a Design Director, where you'll spearhead their practice's design vision and elevate their commitment to quality across all departments. With a focus on promoting excellence in design, you'll also play a pivotal role in driving our marketing and business development efforts.

Your Impact:

  • Develop firm-wide design standards that set the benchmark for excellence.
  • Administer and supervise the design department to ensure cohesive and innovative design strategies.
  • Lead design presentations, monitor project development, and provide expert design direction and support to uphold consistent and high-quality design standards throughout the firm.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of architecture practice, including design principles, building materials, construction methods, engineering integration, and building codes.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align design objectives with project goals and client expectations.
Here's What You'll Need:
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in architecture.
  • Bachelor of Architecture degree.
  • Registered Architect (NCARB).
  • LEED AP certification preferred.
  • Experience in corporate, educational, and/or healthcare projects preferred.
  • Strong commitment to customer service excellence.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to engage with senior management, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a keen eye for quality and attention to detail.
