Position Summary SeamonWhiteside is in search of an ambitious and talented professional to serve as a Design Director in our growing Mount Pleasant, SC office. SW+ is seeking a Civil Design Director who is a registered engineer with the highest level of design skills and will focus on the leading edge of design trends in the industry. They are a knowledge resource to the entire Civil Engineering department working in our Mount Pleasant office. The Design Director will assist in design development, oversight and provide feedback on site plan designs created by fellow engineers. In addition, this position will require vast knowledge of a wide range of complex designs from conception to completion. This position will provide a heavy QA/QC presence as well as provide mentorship to Civil Practice Leaders, Directors, Team Leaders, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators. The Design Director reviews SW+ design standards and procedures and will lead trainings for the whole department when new practices are implemented.
