Job Description: Coordinate with architectural, electrical, mechanical and structural engineers. Collaborate with fabrication and logistics team to pursue continuous improvement opportunities. Rely on extensive knowledge of facility system design and M.C. Dean’s products to develop the design work breakdown structure aligned with the project delivery approach, identify relevant product application and/or improvement opportunities. Evaluate the project scope for each of the systems and work with the design team to develop and maintain level of effort estimates and budgets for completing design. Manage evaluation of M.C. Dean’s modular delivery products against the project’s specifications initiate and manage requests for information (RFIs) and deviation requests to gain the owner’s approval for M.C. Dean’s delivery methods. Manage internal and external subject matter experts (e.g., structural, mechanical, architectural, fire protection, etc.) to ensure performance, safety, and compliance of M.C. Dean’s products and delivery methods. Establish and maintain design team’s priorities, work assignments and resource allocation; manage the design team’s tasks on a daily and weekly basis; coordinate issue resolutions and escalations, as required. Enforce execution of M.C. Dean’s core processes, including design development and design reviews, revision control, time accounting, etc. to ensure the developed solution meets the project specifications, M.C. Dean standards, and project performance objectives. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field -plus- 5 years of experience as a Design Project Manager or any related occupation Applicants for this position may be required to obtain or provide proof of flu shots or of other vaccinations depending on customer requirements and nature of the position or demonstrate a valid basis for exception.
