We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking project designer to join our Fort Worth studio, working alongside our design principal. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for architecture and urban planning, a commitment to sustainability, and a curiosity for continuous learning. A strong design sensibility, attention to detail in crafting presentations, and excellence in building systems are essential qualities for this role.

Job Details


  • Conduct research on project site histories, their surrounding contexts, and relevant precedents.
  • Collaborate closely with the design principal and team to transform conceptual ideas and sketches into schematic design presentations for diverse project types.
  • Create architectural renderings and illustrative plans for buildings and sites.
  • Work with other design professionals to interpret schematic designs throughout the construction document and construction phases.
  • Investigate zoning regulations, building codes, materials, building systems, and site requirements.
  • Present design and planning concepts to clients and regulatory authorities.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of three years of relevant work experience
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Advanced skills in computer modeling, graphics, and rendering
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, ArcGIS, rendering software, and Microsoft Office
