Job Description
About Us

Surreal is where the world’s leading talent manages their AI likeness. We’re still under wraps, but thrilled to share more with you privately.

The Role

As Surreal’s founding Designer, you’ll report to our COO who runs Product. Your mission is to craft high quality end-to-end client experiences that clients and their team’s use to manage their AI business. You’ll craft workflows and interfaces that are both efficient and delightful. We’re looking for someone curious who gets excited about taking broad, conceptual ideas and using product thinking and visual language to turn them into reality from first principles thinking.

You’ll collaborate closely with the executive team and be a key product leader in shaping and implementing Surreal’s strategy, particularly along 2 dimensions:

  1. Product Design: Conceive, design, and deliver powerful, user-friendly experiences. We’re seeking someone who can start with problems and work towards functional solutions. Your designs don't just look good—they solve real problems you’ve internalized from exposure to clients.

  2. Design Systems: Lead the hands-on creation of design systems to originate and scale our surface area within the client ecosystems. We’ll look to you to leverage our brand identity, client input, and strategy to create logical systems that position us to iterate on the product as we learn from the market.

About You

You're not just a designer. You're not just a product manager. You're the one who can effortlessly dance between pixels and product strategy. Your superpower? Collapsing the talent stack to create magic.

  • You see the big picture but obsess over the tiniest details.

  • You speak fluent user, engineer, and business.

  • Data is your friend, but intuition is your secret weapon.

  • You ship sketches faster than most people ship emails.

  • You thrive on turning vague ideas into concrete, user-friendly products.

  • You don’t give up easily and you don’t waste time doing things the hard way.
