Production Designer LTP is seeking a Production Designer to serve as a designer and production artist primarily for books and also other resources. The Production Designer is responsible for the design, proper file set up, layout, and detailed correction throughout the production process of books and other resources. The designer will follow long-standing LTP design and production principles and standards. Both design and production art are essential to this position. Requirements: Experience Required: A college degree is required; major in graphic design, media studies, or like field is preferred. A minimum one-year experience working on page production projects, particularly books or other multiple-page publications. Knowledge and experience with color correction, photo aesthetics, and CMYK printing process. Must have experience designing for print and demonstrated knowledge of fundamental typographical principles. Familiarity with proofreaders’ marks required. Additional Requirements: Advanced proficiency with current Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop). Proficiency with Microsoft 365. Demonstrated understanding of basic design principles and color theory. Must have exceptional attention to detail, including the ability to adhere to style and layout guidelines within a template and maintain consistency across multiple files. Strong verbal and written skills are required while communicating with others in a productive, growth-oriented manner. Fluency in English is required; ability to read and write in Spanish is preferred. HTML and e-pub file experience is beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
