We are currently seeking an Instructional Designer to join our HR Team. This is a remote position, but applicants must reside in Washington D.C , Virginia or Maryland area.
The Instructional Designer is responsible for the creation of engaging and effective learning and development initiatives of the organization. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts, training managers, and other stakeholders to analyze learning needs, design learning solutions, and develop training materials and utilizes instructional design principles and best practices to create high-quality training content, such as e-learning modules, guides, videos, and simulations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, instructional technology or related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of course and instructional design experience using the ADDIE design model.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write clear instructional copy.
- Possess strong project management skills with, exceptional attention to detail, creativity, organization, ability to prioritize, and management of multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Must be able handle time constraints and work in a changing environment.
- Must have the ability to interact with a variety of people at all levels with a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Experience with Articulate Storyline 360 is preferred.
- Hands on experience administering and uploading courses to a Learning Management System (LMS) [Relias and/or Moodle Cloud].
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, mainly Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro, and Audition.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office necessary to include Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
