Motion Recruitment is hiring: Video Editor in New York

Our client, one of the most well-known media and entertainment companies, is looking for someone to join their team as a Video Editor. This role is hybrid in Manhattan, New York.

*This is a 6 month W2 contract*

In this role, you will be assisting the the client's Streaming Motion Studio team in continuing to set a high bar for performance marketing video deliverables.

What You Will Be Doing

• Ensuring that daily content consistency and delivery are running smoothly by editing, spot checking and delivering according to detailed specs and deadlines.
• Help users, document processes, and represent team feedback for software and workflow improvements
• You will leverage pacing and timing as well as sound design to create compelling and targeted short form promotion

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of intermediate experience editing in Adobe Premiere
• Experience with hi-res file transfer apps (Box, Frameio, Google Drive, WeTransfer, Aspera Connect, FTP, servers, etc.), or similar apps.
• Knowledge of video, audio, image encoding formats and broadcast/social media best practices.
• Ideally- someone who has done a lot of short form video work for broadcasting and social media.
