KPIX is looking for a highly talented part-time video editor with a passion for news and experience using non-linear editing equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Work in a fast-paced television news environment.
2. Be detail-oriented and deadline-driven with minimal supervision.
3. Ability to work with Grass Valley Edius editing system is preferred.
4. Juggle multiple projects as a creative and poised team player.
5. Be flexible with work schedule, willing to work nights, overnights, and weekends as needed.
6. ENG will also be part of regular duties.

Minimum Requirements:

1. 2-5 years' experience in a television news environment.
2. Links to demo reel demonstrating abilities required.
