Description

Position Purpose:

Assemble, cut, and edit recorded footage into a finished project that matches the Producer's vision and is suitable for broadcasting.

Essential Duties:
  • Edit raw video footage to create engaging and cohesive video content.
  • Cut, trim, and arrange video clips as directed by the producer.
  • Apply basic video effects, transitions, and color correction.
  • Sync and mix audio with video to ensure clear and balanced sound.
  • Perform basic audio clean-up and enhancement.
  • Organize and manage video and audio files to maintain a structured and efficient workflow.
  • Add basic graphics, titles, and lower thirds to video content as needed.
  • Ensure that the final video products meet quality standards and are free of technical issues.
  • Collaborate with editors, producers, and other team members to execute the vision of video projects.
  • Stay up to date with video editing software and equipment.
  • Troubleshooting basic technical issues related to editing software and hardware.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Basic knowledge of editing software, i.e. Davinci Resolve & Adobe Premiere, and Photoshop. (After Effects, Audition, Encore, Final Cut is a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design is a plus.
  • Ability to work under supervision.
  • Must be able to operate a Mac and Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office Suite.
Requirements:
  • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Must sign the Statement of Faith.
  • Must have a good knowledge of Andrew Wommack Ministries & Charis Bible College.
  • Must be able to demonstrate video editing ability.
  • Must be passionate about providing a quality viewer experience.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.
  • Film School credentials are desirable.
  • Charis Bible College graduate preferred.
  • Must pass all required checks.
Experience:
  • 1+ years of experience in video editing is desirable.
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience.
