What You Will Do

Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, you will be responsible for inventory management, production planning and capacity planning for our fast-growing operation.
Responsibilities

• Track inventory levels at our warehouses, distribution partners, and customer distribution centers and allocate products as needed to maintain proper stock levels.
• Develop and maintain short- and long-term production schedules, considering forecast for both domestically produced and imported items.
• Monitor & evolve production plans and prioritize according to customer needs.
• Develop and maintain short- and long-term capacity planning schedules along with Union, NJ Plant Manager, considering forecast for both domestically produced and imported items.
• Track raw material inventory and work with the purchasing team to ensure proper ordering patterns (i.e. packaging, trays, etc.)
• Provide input for the monthly S&OP process (i.e. inventory status, capacity analysis, etc.).
• Become an integral part of the commercialization planning process, working with your manager to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
• Manage clear and timely communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Promote process improvement initiatives within the Operations department.
• Actively contribute to Deep Indian Kitchen team culture.

We are seeking a Supply Planner who will work cross-functionally to ensure an adequate supply for all our customers. We need the right cultural fit who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, crunch numbers, and manage our supply chain operations with our consumers top of mind. Additionally, you'll have a passion for food and experience with a high-growth CPG brand
Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related area.
• 2-4 years of planning experience (i.e., demand/supply planning, inventory management).
• Production environment and data-modeling experience is a plus.
• Superior quantitative and analytical skills.
• Strong critical reasoning and problem-solving ability.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Advanced user experience with analysis software/tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI).
• Ability to motivate, prioritize and organize within an ambiguous context that's subject to change.
• Hybrid schedule; required to be in person 2.5x per week at Union, NJ facility.
