The Head of HR will be pivotal in steering our client towards a new era of HR excellence, transitioning from outsourced HR management to an in-house model that aligns with the company's values and strategic goals. Responsibilities
- Lead the transition from outsourced to in-house HR management, establishing robust HR operations, policies, and procedures.
- Stay abreast of and ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of employee relations, including overtime management, 401k administration, and annual performance reviews.
- Renegotiate health benefits and other employee perks, aiming for enhancements aligned with the company's culture and employees' needs.
- Adopt and implement modern HR practices that support the company's objectives and promote a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Report directly to the CEO, serving as a key advisor on all HR matters and contributing to strategic decisions.
- Complete audit of all best practices and legal requirements in all states we have employees, keep all up to date.
- Implement all required training videos, on HR best practices.
- Proven track record on negotiating medical benefits.
- Conducts annual 401k benefit meetings
- Manage quarterly newsletter, email to employees.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; a Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or director-level role, preferably within the fashion industry or a related creative sector.
- Demonstrable experience in transitioning HR operations from outsourced to in-house models.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating employee benefits and managing comprehensive HR programs.
- Proficient understanding of labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire employees at all levels within the organization.
- Ability to work 3 days from the Boca Raton office and 2 days remotely, with a commitment to travel to New York City for 2 days per month.
