You will join a dynamic and professional team that develops, fabricates and tests our advanced thin film circuits. Our thin film circuits contain transmission lines, filter, and passive elements, including: resistors, capacitors and inductors. These circuits perform a wide variety of critical microwave and high bit rate functions that make Keysight Technology instruments performance and market leaders.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting existing products by monitoring manufacturing processes and delivering solutions to failure modes
- Providing the operations team with the appropriate technical resources to manufacture products on time and on budget
- Guiding new products from conception through prototyping and into production
- Developing new processes to improve yields or streamline workflows
- Identifying and qualifying capital equipment required for business continuity or new manufacturing capabilities
Qualifications
Required:
- M.S./Ph.D. preferred (B.S. minimum) in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or equivalent technical degree.
- Candidates should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders including other Thin Film engineers, manufacturing and maintenance technicians, project planners, internal customers, and external vendors.
- This engineer must be intrinsically motivated to accomplish all of the tasks required to meet very aggressive product development schedules and world class manufacturing expectations.
- Ability to make timely decisions by assessing tradeoffs and optimizing among competing stakeholder requirements.
- Ability to collate data from disparate sources and draw practical conclusion from the data with sound analytical techniques.
- Creative problem solver who can maximize available resources.
Desired:
- Laboratory experience with related fabrication processes (e.g. deposition, lithography, plating, wet and dry etching, laser ablation, saw separation).
- Experience with advanced high speed/frequency device fabrication, characterization, and reliability.
- Experience with statistical process control and design of experiments.
Payrate:
$92,110.00 - $153,520.00 Annually
