Key Responsibilities:
- Visual Translation: Bring the vision of ONE to life across multiple platforms and mediums including digital assets to physical designs.
- Social Media: Develop captivating cover frames, social posts, and complete carousels for social media - we're looking for someone who understands the social media landscape
- Production Design: Generate screens, lower thirds with QR codes, and other assets for in-service production, tailored to different ministries and announcements.
- Email & Website Assets: Craft eye-catching emails (copy provided) with images, flyers, print materials, and weekly "snapshot" designs for recurring communications.
- Event and Speaker Assets: Design materials for website event pages, speaker announcements, and Sunday thumbnails.
- Video & Testimonial Content: Design lower-thirds, thumbnails, and visual components for creative or testimonial videos.
- Website Updates: Regularly update the website with event information and message content. Familiarity with website design basics is helpful. Knowledgeable with Hubspot or a similar website design platform.
- Campaigns & Events: Contribute to major campaigns, special services, and events, utilizing your design expertise to enhance their impact.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the creative producer and team to brainstorm and execute projects.
- Volunteer Leadership: Lead, guide, and mentor a volunteer design team, fostering a creative and collaborative environment.
- Education/Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this role. Higher education in graphic design or a related field, or certification in graphic design, is highly encouraged to strengthen foundational skills and industry knowledge.
- Senior-Level Roles: 5+ years of experience, including leadership or mentoring experience, and a portfolio showing high-impact work across multiple mediums (digital, print, etc.).
- Software Training: Familiarity with industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) is typically expected, and knowledge of tools like Figma, Sketch, or Canva may also be beneficial.
- Proficiency in HubSpot (or similar email marketing and CRM platform): Ability to effectively utilize HubSpot or equivalent platforms such as Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Marketo to create, schedule, and manage email campaigns.
- Experience in the specific industry (church, non-profit, community-based, or similar.) can be advantageous, particularly for roles requiring brand consistency or audience-specific knowledge
- Experience in Asana (our Project Management System): Proficiency in using Asana, or similar project management tools (such as Trello, Monday.com, or Jira), to effectively organize, track, and manage tasks and projects.
- Design Proficiency and Creativity: Familiarity with current design trends and best practices, along with a strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics. Able to take direction and feedback constructively while contributing original, creative ideas.
- Project Management and Collaboration: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.
