Position Summary:
This is an action-packed and highly creative role that is critical to the success of SPY+ by delivering compelling, creative brand messages to the consumer. The Graphic Designer is the go-to person for SPY+ creative, this role develops concepts, executes design, and produces creative for all digital, trade and print materials.
This position reports to the Creative Director and is based in our Carlsbad, California headquarters.

Job Responsibilities (including, but not limited to the following):
- Provides compelling graphic design and production of all marketing collateral including, but not limited to - emails, digital advertising assets, trade marketing materials, website assets, window graphics, and other print materials.
- Prioritizes and manages multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.
- Manages projects from conceptualization to production, including but not limited to consulting with client and management to determine scope of project, developing sample layouts for approval, interfacing with outside vendors, presenting samples for approval, and preparing final layout for production.
- Assures quality of final product before release.
- Maintains high level of knowledge and skill with all computer software related to the design and production of print materials.
- Manages all media assets.
- Assists with strategizing, designing, and producing visual communications.
- Interacts and collaborates effectively with internal and external team members to assure creative needs of the company are met.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Some experience, but not required in 3D design and rendering applications like Blender and Keyshot.
- 2-3 years experience in traditional graphic design, including layout, logo development, email and digital advertising.
- Digital-first mindset.
- Strong commercial sensibilities - knows the customer journey and how design converts to sales.
- Highly collaborative and willing to work with all teams, stakeholders, and regions.
- Positive attitude, a team player that thrives being part of a winning team vs being an individual player.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in related field or equivalent.
- Proficient on Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint).
- Excels in the use of the Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
- Ability to conceptualize creative concepts.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
