Summary
As a Motion Graphic Designer for our company, you will spearhead the creation of animated troubleshooting videos for our global customer base. In close collaboration with the Customer Insights Content Producer, you will produce, animate, and edit videos for distribution across the Help Center, YouTube, and other relevant social channels. This role demands a creative team player with a deep understanding of user experiences in the AR/VR space, technical proficiency to translate concepts into production, and the ability to lead projects and drive reviews with our partners. This is a contract position based in our Sunnyvale location, reporting to the AR/VR Digital Support Solutions team.
Qualifications and Experiences
- BA/BS or BFA/MFA degree in motion design, animation, graphic design, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience producing high-end creative work.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, with advanced skills in After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and Premiere.
- In-depth knowledge of Cinema 4D and various render engines, such as Redshift and Octane.
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end 3D and 2D production workflows, with a keen eye for assessing project turnaround times.
- Strong conceptual design skills, including proficiency in motion design, typography, color theory, illustration, photography, and layout.
- Ability to thrive in rapid conceptualization and delivery timelines.
- A strong passion for branding.
- Competence in communicating project progress and ensuring team members are updated on project health and status.
- Ability to clearly articulate design rationale and present design work effectively.
- Self-motivated with the ability to move quickly, incorporate feedback efficiently, and maintain project consistency.
Location: Onsite (Burlingame, CA)
Role type: Contract 12 Month Position
