The Vision Products Group (VPG) is looking for a System UI And Graphics Engineer to help us push the limits of the next generation of interactive experiences.

Description

In this role, you will work closely with early prototype teams, Interaction Architecture, Human Interface design, and many other teams at Apple. The candidate will be comfortable working on hard problems in a highly dynamic and creative environment with an ambition to improve, innovate, and explore technologies. Engineers are expected to develop, iterate, and innovate on new technologies. A strong candidate can work effectively across multidisciplinary projects with an emphasis on performance, graphics, system programming, signal processing, UI, and lenticular imaging.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or Equivalent
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in software engineering
• Programming skills and knowledge of C and either C++ or Objective-C
• Linear algebra as it applies to 3D math
• Communication and collaboration skills

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $157,800 and $280,800, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. You’ll also receive benefits including comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, and reimbursement for certain educational expenses.
