This role is full-time, requires a hybrid work schedule, and is only available in New York City.
Responsibilities
The Senior Director, Influencer & Social will play a pivotal role as a client and team lead. They will be the go-to point of contact for client communications, delivering successful influencer-led programs across our full client portfolio. For this role, we are seeking a solution-oriented problem solver who will build strategies rooted in brand storytelling, and drive relationship building with agents and influencers. The Sr. Director, Influencer & Social will also assist in growing our agency capabilities, work cross-functionally across agency teams and oversee career development for a team of digital strategists. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead a talented team of digital strategists, ranging from associate to senior-level.
- Work autonomously to lead assigned programs and build influencer strategies for our consumer facing clients.
- Understand influencer’s place in the marketing mix and provide POVs for how to adapt and evolve strategies to stay relevant and ahead of the curve.
- Deliver successful campaigns that drive measurable results for our clients.
- Establish relationships with agents and influencers.
- Contribute to expanding agency capabilities and offerings within the digital and influencer spaces.
- Provide fresh thinking and creative ways to solve client challenges.
- Partner with other Director-level team members to ensure team and client health remain positive and optimistic.
- Poke holes, ask questions, and push work to be the best it can be.
- Anticipate client/partner needs and formulate proposed solutions.
- Identify, establish and build on internal processes.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience.
- Demonstrated team player working among different departments including creative, earned media, and social.
- Experience in leading and mentoring a diverse team, exemplifying excellent judgment and people skills.
- Experience driving digital strategy and leading execution for major consumer brands including budget management, timeline oversight, and ongoing optimizations.
- Demonstrated interest in culture and its impact on social.
- Deep understanding of influencer marketing and its place within digital.
- Experience turning a concept into an executable plan.
- Expert knowledge of how paid, earned, and owned channels work together.
- Experience managing clients from different business functions.
- Ability to iterate and evolve a strategy with constructive feedback.
- Organized and detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client presentations.
- Strong knowledge of key social platforms.
- Experience gathering and analyzing campaign metrics to assemble a report that tells a cohesive, compelling story.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Expertise in influencer contract negotiations.
- Positive can-do attitude and creative problem solver.

- Experience with identifying, negotiating, contracting, and managing celebrity talent.

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $130,000-$170,000 and this position is eligible for benefits that include medical insurance (health, dental, and vision), retirement plan, paid time off, paid parental leave, new business and employee referral bonuses, etc. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for New York City based hires only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Pay Transparency Law. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as candidates' relevant work experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
