Description Amazon Devices is looking for a Asset Librarian to join Devices Brand Studio (DBS). DBS exists to define and drive brand love for Amazon Devices & Services through strategic, creative storytelling at a global scale that inspires customers to choose, use, and trust our products. To achieve this, we invest in brand strategy, creative development, operational infrastructure, and AI enhancements to create brand experiences and storytelling that helps customers understand, navigate, purchase, use, and truly enjoy our product and service portfolio. The Digital Asset Librarian will join the Brand Studio team to enhance the functionality and efficiency of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) tools. This role focuses on updating metadata, improving asset discoverability, and building relationships between assets within the DAM system. The Digital Asset Librarian will also assist with backup administration of DAM tools, collaborate with the Marketing Tools Manager to establish best practices, and conduct team training to ensure consistent workflows and standards. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with experience in asset management, taxonomy, and tagging, as well as a proactive approach to driving tool evolution and workflow optimization with automation or AI. Key job responsibilities Metadata Management: Update and maintain metadata to enhance search functionality and improve asset relationships within the DAM tools. Asset Preparation & Tagging: Own the preparation, organization, and tagging of digital assets to maintain consistency and accessibility for DAM and automation tools. DAM Tool Administration: Serve as support daily DAM tool administration and issue resolution. Best Practices Development: Collaborate with the Sr. Asset Mgr to document and enforce standards for saving, tagging, and searching for assets. Training & Support: Lead training sessions for team members, ensuring alignment on workflows and standards while providing ongoing guidance. Workflow Improvement: Identify and implement strategies, including automation and AI solutions, to streamline workflows and manage a growing content library effectively. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with diverse teams to prioritize and categorize requests, escalating or engaging stakeholders as needed. Tool Evolution: Share ideas and propose solutions to enhance DAM tool efficiency and align with organizational goals. Basic Qualifications Experience with Digital Asset Management systems and asset lifecycle management. Strong knowledge of taxonomy, metadata tagging, and digital file formats. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities. Proficiency in working with customers and stakeholders across various teams and disciplines. Ability to identify and implement automation tools, including AI-driven solutions, to optimize workflows. Strong problem-solving skills and an innovative approach to toolset evolution. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including experience delivering team training and documentation. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $159,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
