Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Associate to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will assist in the execution and optimization of various marketing initiatives across digital and traditional channels. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the planning, development, and analysis of campaigns that optimize marketing campaigns for various customer segments that increase awareness, penetration and market positioning. This role will work with internal and external partners to create and deliver multi-channel marketing programs that support the association's brand and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Execution: Assist in the creation, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, paid advertising, and content marketing initiatives.
Content Creation: Contribute to the development of marketing content, including campaign-specific copy, social media posts (organic and paid), marketing emails, and product descriptions.
Performance Tracking: Assist in tracking and analyzing the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights to improve future efforts. Utilize reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, and HubSpot, and work with Business Analyst team to assist with performance tracking and analysis.
Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the design and content teams to develop marketing assets such as graphics, banners, and advertisements. Must also be able to work with a variety of product owners and subject matter experts across the association to ensure customer segments, products and services are presented
Market Research: Conduct competitive research and market analysis to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and new opportunities for growth. Will use this data to create and execute customer centric, insights-based marketing campaigns that convey ASCP's value, capabilities and market differentiation.
Event Coordination: Support the planning and coordination of marketing events, trade shows, webinars, and other promotional activities.
Reporting: Generate and prepare reports on key marketing metrics and share results with the marketing team and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
• Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business or related field
• Work Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in marketing, communications and/or advertising.
• Skills:.
o Familiar with traditional and digital customer facing marketing plans
o Strong written, verbal and project management skills.
o Critical thinker with experience in using data, market research, and analytics
o Creative thinking with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
o Proven ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team.
• Preferred Qualifications:
o Experience developing persuasive marketing copy
o Basic understanding of graphic design principles
o Knowledge of website analytic tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
• Physical Abilities: Must be able to travel to occasional meetings (approximately twice a year); some light lifting may be required in setting up marketing booth for trade shows.
