Title: Marketing Coordinator
Position in Corporate Structure:
The Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Marketing & Promotions and develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all other members of the Quakes staff.
1. HAVE FUN!!!
2. Support all departments with graphic design. Be an active member of the Quakes logo/theme "police". Assist Director of Marketing & Promotions with in-stadium signage and any additional print pieces.
3. Execute the Quakes Email Marketing Platform. Learn to independently create and execute customized email campaigns to meet the needs of the ticket sales and sponsorship fulfillment efforts.
4. Manage all photo inventory. Work with Director of Sponsorship Service and Director of Marketing and Promotions to meet team's creative and proof of performance needs. Collaborate with both departments to create a nightly photo checklist.
5. Assist Director of Marketing & Promotions with theme night ideation and execution.
6. Lead Funtainment working within budget to source local acts and vendors for theme nights.
7. Assist with creating a rolling Quarterly Marketing Calendar. At the start of each month organize and communicate the schedule for the next three months.
8. Assist with management of the Quakes website to ensure its currency and accuracy, especially pertaining to ticket information, sponsorship fulfillment, look and promotional elements.
9. Prioritize project timeliness. Make sure projects are completed by the agreed upon timelines.
10. Communicate any changes to projected timelines.
11. Work in conjunction with the Director of Marketing & Promotions regarding all marketing efforts of the ticket sales department across various platforms (e-blast, social, etc.).
12. Assist with Quakes Social Media Platforms. Create, communicate and maintain a social strategy, focusing on brand building, participating in relevant platform trends, and developing a content bank. Maintain the social media calendar as part of the rolling quarterly marketing Calendar, merging brand and marketing campaigns. Create quick content to post on larger nights. Assist with live event coverage on all platforms.
13. Support the Quakes ClickUpon campaign in collaboration with the Director of Marketing & Promotions to create, communicate and maintain a ClickUpon strategy. Include this in the Quarterly marketing calendar.
14. Assist in the Public Relations efforts in the offseason, including but not limited to news releases, community involvement, etc. Work in a support role for these goals during the season.
15. On game nights, the Marketing Coordinator will focus on a combination of live event coverage: capturing and publishing live content on game days, as well as deploying strategic initiatives (StellarAlgo e-mail campaigns, etc.) to market future games and stay up to date with the marketing calendar. The Marketing & Content Creation Coordinator will also assist with execution of on-field promotions and all aspects of "the show".
16. Join the rest of the Quakes Front Office in:
• Continuing to look for new ways to improve LoanMart Field and the Quakes fan experience.
• Providing the highest quality of customer service, according to the QUAKES customer service priorities (Safety, Courtesy, Show, Efficiency and Staff Pride/Fun) with all staff, sponsors, and fans
• Representing the Quakes in a professional manner and maintain the Quakes look,
• "Communicate, communicate, communicate" the details of the marketing plan with the entire Quakes staff.
17. Any other duties and responsibilities as designated by the Director of Marketing & Promotions and the Vice President - General Manager.
