WHAT YOULL DO

The Senior Vice President of Global Marketing leads the development and execution of our B2B marketing strategy with the support of the centralized marketing organization and in-country field marketing leaders, a team of more than 20 professionals. The position is results-oriented, providing strategic leadership, driving revenue growth, and fostering alignment between sales, product, and marketing teams.

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute an annual, comprehensive marketing plan informed by market research, aligned with business objectives, and designed to maximize brand awareness, lead generation, vendor engagement, and sales growth. Additional leadership goals include team engagement, cost allocation management, pipeline creation, brand equity, and thought leadership.
  • Brand Equity: Oversee development and delivery of brand strategy, brand management, and brand awareness initiatives, including key external and internal communications and agencies needed to support key initiatives, like website design. This includes analyst relations to position the company as the category leader and press relations to generate earned media coverage.
  • Corporate Communications: Partner with brand strategy leader to develop and deliver key corporate communications for internal channels like biannual town halls, core values program, and monthly employee newsletter, and external channels, like video marketing and social media to attract and engage prospective customers and employees.
  • Demand Creation: Create B2B marketing strategies, including account-based marketing (ABM) leveraging thought leadership, digital channels, CRM integration, data analytics, sales enablement, and customer insights to deliver effective targeted marketing campaigns and initiatives. Drive customer acquisition, retention, and cross-sell/upsell opportunities. Support similar initiatives in support of our e-commerce channel. Guide lead management best practices.
  • Product Marketing: Partner with product and innovation teams to lead the development of new product marketing assets promoting the companys solutions and services. Output includes marketing collateral, data sheets, use cases, web content, sales battle cards, customer presentations, blogs, and case studies.
  • Global Field Marketing: Direct the creation of field marketing outreach and engagement plans for each of our global regions, including customer-facing events, major trade exhibitions, conference speaking opportunities, and internal department events, including our biennial Sales Acceleration Summit. Oversee planning, support, and engagement of field marketing personnel outside the U.S. to ensure alignment with marketing objectives and operations. Collaborate on setting field marketing goals and ensure results reflect market growth objectives.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Inspire, mentor, and empower the marketing team of brand strategy, demand creation, content marketing, partner marketing, and field marketing colleagues to excel in their roles, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, creativity, and accountability.
  • Partnership with Sales: Work closely with sales leadership to align marketing efforts with sales goals and objectives, ensuring seamless coordination and integration between the departments and a strong pipeline of future business. Ensure the team works closely with sales colleagues and drives activity, including account-based marketing, such as content creation, campaigns, and field events to create opportunities, accelerate pipeline, and nurture marketing leads.
  • Performance Measurement and Optimization: Demonstrate bottom-line contribution through marketing metrics tracking customer interactions across the lifecycle from awareness to advocacy. Set marketing goals and report on actual results to ensure ongoing effectiveness and optimization of marketing plans.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

Must-Haves:

  • Demonstrable track record of strong leadership and inspiring teams to deliver exceptional results.
  • Ideally, 10+ years in a similar marketing leadership position for a large, multinational company.
  • Keen acumen for collaboratively developing and implementing strategic marketing plans that align with business objectives, drive bottom-line impact, and function as blueprints for the marketing team.
  • Previous P&L responsibility as well as experience with marketing organizational planning and team development.
  • Extensive experience and a deep understanding of B2B, brand strategy and architecture, integrated marketing strategy, and account-based marketing (ABM).
  • Well-versed in leveraging digital channels, programmatic advertising and business development, CRM and ABM applications, data analytics, and customer insights to drive targeted marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to foster alignment and collaboration between and among sales and marketing teams.
  • Ability to tailor and localize marketing strategies in new and emerging markets around the globe.
