Oncology Marketing Associate Role
ROLE SUMMARY:
Are you passionate about making a difference in the world of oncology? Join us as a Marketing Associate and play a pivotal role in driving the success of Pfizer's Oncology portfolio. PADCEV, a bladder cancer drug, is a standard of care and has been used to treat more than 25,000 patients in the US since its approval in late 2019; in addition, it is a key growth driver for the Pfizer portfolio.
In this dynamic position, you will be at the heart of our marketing operations, ensuring the seamless execution of key activities that boost brand awareness and fuel growth. You'll have the chance to work closely with the US PADCEV team, including sales, marketing, digital, legal, regulatory, and cross-functional teams to enhance marketing effectiveness.
The role also offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience directly supporting senior marketing colleagues, learning the intricacies of Pfizer's Oncology business, and making a direct impact on resources that support patients and healthcare providers.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Oncology Marketing Associate will deliver on the following:
Support PADCEV's marketing operational activities to support brand success
Delivery of sales materials to the field
Deployment of marketing materials through various channels - field, digital, and others
Manage communications between marketing and internal partners
Inventory & Print Management of Promotional Materials
Take charge of print logistics, drop shipment plans, and webstore inventory
Oversee marketing material inventory execution at warehouses
Identify and address inventory issues and initiate re-approval processes for near-expiring materials
Execute operational budget activities including monthly spend reconciliations, creation of SOWs and amendments, etc.
Manage brand-level webstore activities and communications
CRM Management:
Provide tactical CRM support through overseeing processes for Commercial promotional/non-promotional materials, including lifecycle management
Own CRM re-approval workflows and route materials through MLR process
Promotional Material Review:
Monitor marketing materials under review, ensure all comments are addressed, and confirm incorporation of required changes
Knowledge Management:
Support Marketing teams in knowledge management related activities
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field is required
0-2 years of work experience or related university-level coursework, internship, etc. in product marketing/marketing operations in a highly regulated environment
Basic understanding of marketing principles and practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to contribute to organizational infrastructure projects that enable business driving creative excellence via breakthrough campaigns for products
Delivery of organizational improvement initiatives that directly enhance the impact and effectiveness of product marketers
Capable of translating business goals and product marketer pain-points into process improvements
High attention to detail and commitment to excellence in execution
Excellent communication and people engagement skills across a matrixed organization
Business acumen with ability to link creative strategy to commercial metrics and convey insights and optimization to peers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous pharmaceutical experience a plus
Process improvement and analytics experience
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lifting, sitting, standing, walking, bending, ability to perform mathematical calculations and ability to perform data analysis
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:
10-15% travel required, consistent with business requirements
Other Job Details:
Last date to apply is December 11, 2024. The annual base salary for this position ranges from $64,600.00 to $107,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
