The Social Media Manager will help us share the uncompromising Word of Faith with Partners and Friends through compelling social media initiatives in the ever-changing world of social media. This manager-level position will oversee all social media channels for Kenneth Copeland Ministries and associated brands, including VICTORY Channel, FlashPoint, Eagle Mountain International Church, and Kenneth Copeland Bible College. The position is onsite.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all social media channels for Kenneth Copeland Ministries and associated brands.
  • Work with brand stakeholders to create and implement social media strategies that align with the goals of each ministry brand.
  • Proactively identify ways to connect with existing Partners and Friends, as well as new people
  • Develop social media campaigns in collaboration with the communications team
  • Manage and direct a team of content creators to execute strategies, as well as create and schedule content for each brand.
  • Manage live streams for events, VICTORY programs, church services and more
  • Coordinate video and photography needs to capture live events, programming, interviews and more.
  • Constant monitoring of online conversations and engagement, necessitating flexibility to respond to inquiries and issues outside of standard business hours
  • Identify when brands should comment on trending news and significant national and world events to ensure timely response on social media
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns that support brand strategies
  • Align our brands with new and emerging social media trends
  • Identify new and relevant social media channels for our brands
  • Glean insights from social data using monitoring tools
  • Analyze social strategies to make frequent improvements
  • Stay up to date with new and emerging trends to help keep the ministry's social media presence consistently relevant
  • Establish key performance indicators to understand the efficacy of existing social campaigns and adjust strategy for further optimizations
  • Prepare and present campaign reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting the key findings and recommendations.
  • Stay updated with social media marketing trends, technologies and best practices to drive relevant connections.
  • Other duties as required and/or assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business or related field.
  • Significant experience leading a brand's social media initiatives
  • Experience with social media tools like Later or Meltwater
  • Familiarity with the teachings of Kenneth Copeland Ministries preferred
  • Experience working with ministries or non-profits preferred
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Keen understanding of how to craft effective social media strategies
  • Significant management and leadership experience
  • Extensive knowledge of a variety of current social media platforms
  • A commitment to actively manage social media channels around the clock, including weekends and holidays, to maintain a responsive online presence
  • Excellent problem-solving techniques
  • Strong multitasking capabilities under pressure
  • Clear, confident communication abilities
  • Effective time-management skills
  • Availability to manage
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:
  • PC computer, comfortable chair

  • Works in a normal office environment

  • Born again believer and must adhere to this organization's doctrines as upheld by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their appointed representatives.
  • Must work well with others, as a team and according to Romans 16:17, must not cause dissension, difficulties, and divisions.
  • Must attend Eagle Mountain International Church
  • Must maintain a good attendance record
