The Elevate Prize Catalyst Award: The award recognizes prominent individuals who use their influence to drive social action, providing $250,000 in unrestricted funding to deepen their impact and an additional investment put towards a content partnership to further inspire and catalyze change. The Elevate Prize Get Loud Award: The Elevate GET LOUD Award is a monthly grant fueling community-based movements and organizers on the frontlines committed to collective action and building power among communities. Job Description: Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Communications, we are seeking a full-time creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team at the Elevate Prize Foundation. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in social media strategy, content creation, and analytics, with experience across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), and Facebook. This position is responsible for crafting and executing innovative social media content that takes our social media presence to the next level, while elevating our mission and amplifying the voices of our social entrepreneurs. Responsibilities: Develop and implement a cross-platform, comprehensive social media strategy that increases visibility and drives engagement for the foundation's mission, programs, and initiatives. Design cross-platform, creative, and integrated campaigns that assertively grow the following and engagement on each. Create thumb-stopping, high-quality content — including videos — tailored to each platform, showcasing our brand and the work of our prize winners. Manage community engagement across all social media channels, fostering conversations and building relationships with our audience. Collaborate with external designers, editors, and copywriters to create best-in-class content. Continuously identify opportunities for growth, partnerships, and content that resonate with our audience. Build and cultivate strategic partnerships, including with influencers and content platforms. Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, utilizing insights to refine strategies and optimize engagement. Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns across various platforms. Collaborate with the wider marketing and communications team to ensure brand consistency. Continuously monitor and stay informed about the latest trends and best practices across social media. Train and support team members and our winners in social media best practices. Other projects and duties as assigned. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in social media management, preferably within the nonprofit or social impact space. Obsessed with pop culture and trends in social media. Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns. Strong understanding of using data to inform content choices and experience with analytics tools. Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. A creative thinker with a passion for data and problem-solving. A true collaborator comfortable working with multiple team members. This position can be located in Miami, Los Angeles, New York, or potentially remote/hybrid. This position is considered Exempt for FLSA purposes.
